Blackbelt360 Announces New Shareholder Investment and Leadership Expansion to Accelerate Global Growth
London, UK • April 2026
PRESS RELEASE
Blackbelt360, a provider of globally compliant device processing software, today announced new shareholder investment from owner Gary Middlebrook, to support its next phase of growth.
Since 2011, Blackbelt360 has built a strong reputation for delivering secure, compliant, and scalable software solutions to the global refurbishment and IT asset disposition (ITAD) markets. Its platform processes over 8.5 million mobile data erasures and over 4.5 million diagnostic tests annually, alongside over 500,000 computer erasure and diagnostics for both PC and Mac.
The investment provides the business with significant financial strength and flexibility, ensuring it is well positioned to accelerate product development, expand internationally, and respond to evolving enterprise requirements.
LEADERSHIP EXPANSION TO DRIVE THE NEXT PHASE OF GROWTH
Blackbelt360 has appointed a leadership team combining deep sector experience with fresh technical firepower to support its next phase of global growth. The new appointments span commercial leadership and engineering, reinforcing the company’s commitment to platform innovation and international expansion:
Paul Katzoff — Chief Executive Officer
Paul brings almost two decades of leadership experience in secure data erasure, IT asset disposition, and enterprise software sales. He first entered the data erasure industry in 2008, previously serving as CEO and in senior roles at WhiteCanyon Software (WipeDrive), where he helped global corporations, Fortune 500 organisations, and ITAD providers implement automated, regulation-compliant data sanitisation workflows that reduce risk and increase asset recovery value. Paul holds an MBA from Utah State University and is focused on the customer experience and leveraging new technology;
Robert F. K. Martin — Engineering Manager
Robert is a senior software engineer with over 25 years of experience spanning the full product lifecycle, from design through to release. Based in the United States, he brings hands-on technical leadership and deep expertise in developing for the data erasure market, making him central to Blackbelt360’s drive to scale its platform capabilities globally. Known for being detail-oriented and an effective mentor, Robert combines strong engineering rigour with the ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
“There is a significant opportunity ahead of us. Blackbelt360 already has a powerful platform and a loyal global customer base. With this backing, we can move faster — investing in product innovation, strengthening delivery, and meeting the increasingly complex needs of high-volume device processing operations.”
— Paul Katzoff, CEO
PLATFORM INNOVATION
The investment will be used to significantly enhance the Blackbelt360 platform, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge of the sector globally. New platform features are already in active development, designed to address the next generation of enterprise device processing requirements. This includes:
- Advancing automation and throughput capabilities
- Enhancing compliance and audit reporting features
- Supporting enterprise-scale processing environments
- Addressing evolving requirements from major ITADs, refurbishers, and retailers
Blackbelt360’s software streamlines complex workflows across diagnostics, grading, and certified data erasure — enabling customers to process higher volumes of devices with speed, accuracy, and full compliance. All solutions meet stringent global standards, including NIST 800-88, R2v3-aligned processes, and ADISA-certified data erasure.
“This is about building on what already works. We are investing to ensure Blackbelt360 remains a trusted partner for businesses that need to process devices securely, efficiently, and at scale.”
