Blackbelt360 Expands US Operations to Meet Rising Demand for Secure Device Lifecycle Software
Plantation, FL • July 2026
PRESS RELEASE
Device lifecycle software company strengthens its US business with a US-headquartered entity, US-based executive leadership and a deepening commitment to the North American refurbishment and ITAD ecosystem.
Blackbelt360, the device lifecycle software company, has expanded its US operations to meet rising demand from North American refurbishers, retailers, carriers and IT asset disposition (ITAD) providers. The USA now accounts for around half of all Blackbelt360 erasure and diagnostic transactions, and the expansion is anchored by the company's US entity, Blackbelt360 Inc., headquartered in Plantation, Florida, and a US-based executive team led by chief executive Paul Katzoff.
The build-out includes established US corporate and banking operations, a growing US commercial team under VP of Global Sales Jen Latak, and US-based engineering leadership under Head of Engineering Robert Martin. Locating senior leadership, sales and engineering in the US allows Blackbelt360 to support its North American customers in their own time zone, with local onboarding and support.
The market backdrop supports the move. The global refurbished ITAD market is forecast to grow from USD 5.1 billion in 2025 to USD 9.75 billion by 2034 – close to doubling – with North America the largest regional market (Custom Market Insights). Retailers, carriers and ITAD operators are scaling trade-in, refurbishment and resale programs, while data-protection and environmental requirements raise the bar for secure erasure, diagnostics and grading.
Blackbelt360's commitment to the US ecosystem is reflected in its active membership of the industry's leading bodies – including ASCDI, i-SIGMA, SERI, e-Stewards, the Global ITAD Alliance and CTIA – and its sponsorship of the SERI e-Summit. Its software is ADISA certified and meets the data-erasure requirements that NAID AAA-, R2v3- and e-Stewards-certified operators are required to satisfy.
Quote – Paul Katzoff, Chief Executive
“North America is central to our growth. By basing our leadership, sales and engineering teams here and investing in our US operations, we can stand alongside our customers as they scale their refurbishment and resale programs – with software they can trust at every stage of the device lifecycle,” said Paul Katzoff, chief executive of Blackbelt360.
Quote – Jen Latak, VP of Global Sales
“Our US customers are processing more devices, to higher compliance standards, than ever. Having our team based here means we can move at their pace and help them grow with confidence,” said Jen Latak, VP of Global Sales at Blackbelt360.
