When an enterprise decommissions a rack, nobody is anxious about the chassis. The anxiety is about what is on the drives - customer records, financial data, whatever the business was actually running. The client needs to know it is gone, and beyond that they need to be able to show somebody else that it is gone. That is the part that gets audited, and it is the part a shelf of erased drives with no paperwork cannot answer.


Erase the drives, certify every one
Most decommissioning workflows pull the drives before anything else happens to the chassis, and that is where Blackbelt360 does its work. Drives removed from server bays are erased through the same loose-drive workflow as any other drive, with a tamper-evident certificate generated for each one and tied to its serial number. Whether a rack yields eight drives or thirty-two, every drive comes out of the process carrying its own record.

ADISA certified data erasure for HDDs and SSDs, with NIST 800-88 compliance verified by ADISA. Supports NIST Purge and Clear, DoD 5220.22-M and ECE, BSI-GS and BSI-GSE, and IEEE 2883-2022. Every erasure generates a tamper-evident certificate, stored centrally and exportable in PDF, CSV, XML or JSON. R2v3-aligned processes, with auto-verify covering the sampling R2v3 facilities have to evidence. ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified.
